A work in the typical post-WWII style of TorIi KOTONDO, whose father was TORII KIYOTADA IV, the seventh head of the famous Torii school founded by Torii Kiyonobu (c. 1664-1729). In 1929, Kotondo officially succeeded his father as the head of the Torii school, taking the name Torii KIYOTADA V.
