Nagasaki-E Chinese ship
- an early Nagasaki print in Hariya style -

Condition: minor flaws, but generally very good
Black outlines and text woodblock-printed, colors in kappa-zuri (stencil coloring).

Nagasaki prints, particularly such early and larged-sized ones as this, are extremely rare.

The inscriptions give the following technical description of and information about the ship: length: 23 ken, width: 6 ken, height: 25 ken (1 ken = 1.8 meters). - Crew members: approximately 100, distance to Tang from Tokyo: 1600 ri (1 ri = c. 3.9 kms / 2.4 mi.). - Early Nagasaki prints are generally not signed by the artist.
