General information

Degener Japanese Fine Prints specializes in the world-wide sale and acquisition of Japanese
woodblock prints, illustrated woodblock printed books and drawings ("works of art").

All works of art offered in our web gallery are guaranteed to be authentic originals, worked out
or printed at or about the dates given.

Descriptions of shown items were all made to the best of our knowledge. They are all in good
to perfect condition, unless stated otherwise. - Slight diffences in color tones and/or contrast
between the pictures of our web gallery and the actual works may occur depending on the
viewer's individual hardware used and/or monitor calibration.

Dimensions are given in inches and centimeters (height x width).

Most items shown in our web gallery are offered for sale and are available, unless otherwise stated.
Orders may be made by phone or via e-mail.


Returns / Money back guarantee

In accordance with German law, private customers (i.e. those who do not use ordered items for their
own business purposes), are entitled to return any order within fourteen days without giving reasons
for the return.

The cancellation period begins at the earliest after receipt of a written cancellation instruction
(by letter, fax or e-mail), but not before the receipt of the merchandise by the customer.

Customers meet the deadline by dispatching item(s) or the cancellation instruction on time.

Items damaged while in the possession of the buyer cannot be returned. Shipping fees are not
refundable.

Prices and Payment

Prices are net and listed in EURO (€), - V.A.T. will be added to buyers from within the
European Union. Payment has to be made in advance (unless agreed upon otherwise)
by wire transfer to our bank account, or via PayPal.


Shipping and handling

Prices do not include the shipping cost (which depend on weight and size of shipment, as well
as the type of transportation and the destination country). - Delivery at the customer's risk and
expense, fully insured on the customer's special request only! We will inform you in advance
about shipping and handling fees (and about the cost of an insurance - if requested) via E-mail.


Data security and disclaimer

Our customers' personal data, - which only consists of street and email addresses, as
well as the field of ukiyo-e interest if individually submitted to us by customer -, will
be kept by us in confidence. We will never sell or share private data with anyone. Our
website consists of simple html-code and doesn't use cookies, collect or store personal
data in any way, nor do we make such data available to third parties. We do not store
credit card data since we no longer accept this form of payment.


Final clause

Place of performance and jurisdiction is Düsseldorf/Germany. All disputes which may arise
are subject to German law.
