(black ink) and watercolor on paper

The sketchbook is cloth-bound as a folding album with
decorative, silvery patterns set against a gray-blue ground;
comes with cloth-wrappers decorated with
tsuba
designs.

shijo
painting style who, by the end of the 18th and early 19th centuries seems to have influenced
