Print no. 39 from the so-called "Upright Tokaido" series: Okazaki station, the Yahagi river and bridge which goes across the panel from upper left to right. A daimyo procession is passing Yahagi bridge. In the foreground below, a man is washing down a horse on the near bank. Beyond, woods and distant mountains with Okazaki castle to the right. -

NOTE: there also exists, printed from the same blocks, an edition of the entire series on crêpe paper.
