Print no. 17 from the so-called "Upright Tokaido" series. - The road winds steeply up-hill to the left; in the foreground are crossed trees. Below to the right, the bay with rocks and surf; Fuji, snow-clad, is seen through the trees on the cliff. NOTE: there also exists, printed from the same blocks, an edition of the entire series on crêpe paper.
