People are flocking to a water front to see the parade of large merchant and war ships. A biplane is flying in the sky.
LITHOGRAPHS enjoyed great popularity during the Meiji era because of its ease of mass- production. It started to be widely used around the year 1880 with hand-colored publications and quickly developed into multi-colored commercial applications replacing woodblock printing.
