"To-ji" (To Temple). Silhouette of the To-ji temple's five storied pagoda under a fiery red sky. The temple was originally built by the high priest Kobo Daishi in 826. The pagoda stands 57 meters (c. 173 ft.) tall, making it the tallest wooden pagoda in Japan.
